DJI O3 / Vista / Walksnail: Native fit.
DJI O4 Pro: The cam unit is too large for the stock cage. You need our separate O4 Pro CNC Kit to fly this system.
Caddx Moonlight: It fits, but very tight. ND filters are possible, but your camera angle will be locked at approximately 20°. If you need a variable angle for Moonlight, this frame is not ideal.
Analog VTX: The Foxeer Reaper fits, but only when mounted sideways.

The Cage: Why Injection-Molded Nylon?
The visual signature of the ERA is also its functional core. We don't use aluminum (too rigid) or 3D printing (too weak) for our camera protection. We invested in high-pressure injection molding because our testing proved it superior to every other method. 3D printing creates layers, microscopic weak points where cracks eventually start. Injection molding creates a solid, uniform polymer structure with equal strength in all directions.
Why nylon? It's the same polymer family used in downhill mountain bike pedals and high-end snowboard bindings. Parts that survive thousands of vibration cycles and high-velocity impacts without snapping. TPU is more elastic, carbon is stiffer and can chip on sharp impacts. Nylon sits in between: structural memory to take a hit and keep your camera exactly where you set it. It absorbs impact energy, flexes, and bounces back. It sacrifices itself so your electronics don't have to.
Beyond protection, this solid cage acts as a structural bridge. Combined with our split deck construction, the entire chassis becomes one unified, stiff block that withstands abuse.

Action Camera Mounting System
We fly 20°. That's why it's the stock angle. Five mounts available from 10° to 30° in 5° steps. One M3 screw out, swap the mount, done. The cage stays untouched.
Your FPV camera is separate and fully adjustable from 0° to roughly 40°.
Geometry & Handling
The ERA uses a Compressed-X layout to squeeze the frame footprint to the absolute minimum. This centralization of mass is what makes it feel snappy and locked-in.
Action cam sits close to the propline. This isn't aesthetic, it's weight distribution. The closer to center, the more responsive the quad.
One tradeoff: This geometry pushes props further out of your FPV feed compared to True-X, but they're not invisible. We prioritize balance and flight performance over a clean cinematic view. You will see prop edges in your camera.
Construction
Arms lock into the frame with a form fit. No slop, no play. The bottom plate is under tension from the center screw, adding stiffness without weight.
Need to access your stack? Leave the camera attached. Six screws out, top plate off, full access. Nothing to realign when you're done.
Every cage is checked by hand. Heat inserts installed with specialized equipment. No batch leaves without personal QA.
Material Standards
We build what we fly. That means no shortcuts on material grades. T700/T800 carbon mix with chamfered edges where it matters. 12.9 Grade YFS steel screws that don't strip. 7075 aluminum standoffs that don't bend.

What Camera Cage Should You Use?
Cinematic pilots will benefit from the GoPro-style camera cage, offering smooth, step-free angle adjustments without a TPU guard. Its specially made titanium M5 bolt allows quick, tool-free changes with a 2.5mm hex key.
Freestyle pilots should opt for the fixed-angle camera cage, which stays secure during crashes. While less versatile, its fixed 20-degree angle ensures consistent control.
Both cages, made from durable nylon polymer, provide excellent camera protection and fit cameras up to 20x20mm.

Wirklich geiler Frame. Vor allem der Cage für die Kamera. Wer denn kaputt kriegt muss wohl mit 200 Klamotten gegen nen Stahlpfeiler gekracht sein 🤣🤣🤣. Ebenfalls ne geile Sache das darauf verschiedene Sachen montiert werden können. Wie z.B. Lipo Schutz oder Aktion Cam. Sehr viel Zubehör dabei. Auch eine schöne Sache. Bester Frame ever 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The Era 5 is an absolutely amazing frame to build. I have built two identical version of the Era 5 frame at the same time, both with analog vtx setup. All the carbon pieces are very well cut and a perfect fit. The camera cage looks very strong and the camera mount is well designed. Also the TPU 3D print for the GoPro 11 Mini fits perfectly and is printed in great quality. Thanks for making one of the best frames and accessories around! Up next will be the Era 3.5" version as soon as it will be back in stock.

I wanted to build an 8S quad with DJI O4 pro, this frame was what I chose to do that experiment and I am beyond amazed. It flies extremely precise, better than any quad that I had (chinese apex (ImpulseRC is gone), voldor and even AOS frame). Durability wise I am not worried for a second, and it protects my DJI O4 very well. Additionally I got the CNC kit for the O4 to make sure that I can fly worry free with no fear of impacts. I will be buying the era mini as well, because if its anything like the ERA 5, then I will switch all my quads to itsfpv frame. Very well thought of design and very practical. I wish the freestyle 5" had a black camera cage though for a full stealthy look.

Super stabiler Frame, der Aufbau des Computers war super leicht und alle Teile haben perfekt gepasst. Ich hatte bis jetzt noch keinen Frame der auch nur annähernd an die Top Qualität vom ERA Frame ran kommt.
Der ITS FPV Era ist einfach ein richtig genialer Frame. Alles ist super durchdacht, die Teile passen perfekt zusammen und man merkt sofort, wie viel Arbeit und Liebe zum Detail hier drinsteckt. Für mich einer der besten Frames, die ich bisher gebaut habe. Klare Empfehlung – ich werde definitiv noch weitere Frames kaufen. Danke für die tolle Arbeit!

I had a chance to fly my friend's ERA 5, and was blown away with it's performance. I am currently building my own ERA 5 with Hummingbird stack and It's 2306.5 motors.
Wahnsinns Freestyle Quad! Klasse Frame, lässt sich prima zusammenbauen und auch die restlichen Komponenten sind vom Feinsten und jeden Euro wert. Als Nächstes ist der Era Mini auf meiner Liste. Kann es kaum erwarten auch den zu bauen und fliegen!

Ich habe den ERA 5" Frame mit dem DJI O4 Pro Setup (CNC Kit) und 2306.5 Motoren aufgebaut. Der Frame wirkt sehr stabil und hochwertig verarbeitet. Alle Teile haben gut gepasst und der Aufbau war sauber möglich. Die Drohne fliegt bisher sehr ruhig und präzise. Besonders gut gefällt mir die stabile Bauweise und das durchdachte Kamera-Mounting. Sehr guter Freestyle-Frame. Ich freue mich auf die Kommenden Flüge.

This is the most premium frame I've ever built! Coming from a prebuilt iFlight 5” quad the materials used in this frame are so much nicer, the arms look like they can really tank a kiss with a concrete wall. The build instructions are clear and assembly was fun (I am tempted to buy a second frame just to build it again :D).

Takes a hit. Only recommendation is the removal of the middle bolt in the nylon cage as this seems to be a weak point, and mine has split down this section. Otherwise amazing flying frame, nice and compact and seems to have great durability 🙂 great job itsfpv team!!
The performance of the nylon mold is overwhelming, but it's a shame that it's a little constrained when it's equipped with analog VTX, and the height of the interior space is a little low. It's nice though.(Used Translator)
