DJI O3 / Vista / Walksnail: Native fit.

DJI O4 Pro: The cam unit is too large for the stock cage. You need our separate O4 Pro CNC Kit to fly this system.

Caddx Moonlight: It fits, but very tight. ND filters are possible, but your camera angle will be locked at approximately 20°. If you need a variable angle for Moonlight, this frame is not ideal.

The Cinematic Cage

Same injection molding process as ERA. Same impact-absorbing nylon polymer. But redesigned for cinematic work.

GoPro-style mounting system with a titanium M5 bolt. Stepless angle adjustment from -10° to 45°. No click-stops, no fixed increments. Set your angle with a 2.5mm hex key and it stays locked. Every pilot already has that tool.

Why 5.5" Props

Action cams keep getting heavier. The new GoPro Mission 1 Pro lands at 208g, a 1-inch sensor cinema cam that weighs about a third more than a Hero 13 and several times what a naked cam does. Put that on a standard 5" quad and you feel it in every corner, and flight times drop.

5.5" props give you the lift to carry a full-size GoPro without trading away the flight feel. More balanced, more responsive, longer flights. Still agile enough for dynamic lines.

Geometry & Handling

Deadcat layout pushes the front props out of your camera's field of view. No props in view, no post-cropping, no compromises on lens choice.

The longer top plate shifts weight distribution for better balance with front-mounted action cams. The result: smooth, predictable handling for tracking shots and proximity work.

Construction

Interlock V2 arm system. Arms lock in with a form fit, secured with a single screw. No slop, no play.

Split deck design saves weight without losing rigidity. The cage bridges the structure, stiffening the entire chassis.

Material Standards

Same standards as ERA. No shortcuts. T700/T800 carbon mix with chamfered edges where it matters. 12.9 Grade YFS steel screws that don't strip. 7075 aluminum standoffs that don't bend. Titanium M5 bolt for the action camera mount – light, strong, won't seize.

FAQ

Will it carry a full-size GoPro?

Yes. The GoPro-style mount and 5.5" props are built for full-size action cams, all the way up to the 208g GoPro Mission 1 Pro. Lighter and naked cams fit too.

Is 5.5" the same as a 5-inch frame?

It flies like a 5". Same agility, same feel. The extra prop disc just gives you the lift to carry a heavier camera and hold your flight time. A 5" that doesn't bog down under a full GoPro.

Which VTX fits?

DJI O3, Vista, and Walksnail drop straight in. Running a DJI O4 Pro? Grab the ERA DC O4 version instead, or convert your O4 with our CNC kit.
