ERA Mini - The World Opens Up

Full ERA, Compressed

This isn't a stripped-down mini version. It's the complete ERA design philosophy: proven camera protection, compressed X geometry, split deck construction. Scaled to 3.5 inches with zero compromises. Everything that made ERA work, tightened up.

Camera Protection That Actually Works

Our nylon polymer camera cage absorbs impact energy instead of transferring it. While CNC aluminum looks tough, it transmits shock directly to your fpv camera. The polymer flexes, bounces back, and takes the hit so your camera doesn't. We've yet to see a single cage fail beyond usability. They get damaged over time, but they stay functional. Crash after crash after crash.

Built Like a Shrunken 5-Inch

Around 300g AUW fully built. Light enough for precision, heavy enough for momentum. The compressed X geometry that made ERA responsive feels even tighter at this scale. We describe it as a "mini 5-inch": same authority, smaller package.

Hardware You'd Spec Yourself

We build what we fly. That means T700/T800 carbon mix. 12.9 hardened YFS screws that won't strip. 7075 aluminum standoffs that won't bend. 22mm deck height (up from ERA's 20mm) for easier installation without sacrificing rigidity.

Small detail that matters: TPU strap holder locks your battery straps in place between packs. No more loose straps slipping during swaps.

Coming 2026: The 3.5-Inch Standard

We didn't just build a frame. We partnered with T-Motor and Gemfan to make 3.5-inch freestyle work the way 5-inch works.

T-Hobby × it's FPV 1604.5 Motors

Proven bell design, but with a brand new 3mm shaft. The scaled-down equivalent of proper 5-inch motors. Lighter than 1604 designs with oversized shafts, more durable than T-mount alternatives. No C-clip to swap bells, just a small M2 screw. Prop swaps feel like 5-inch again.

Gemfan Custom 3.5" Props

3mm shaft hole, a purpose-built prop for this motor standard.

Our goal: establish the new 3.5-inch standard. We hope other manufacturers adopt these specs so 3.5-inch freestyle becomes genuinely viable, not a compromise.

Vastly more compact

ERA Mini opens up a new library of flight spots that are physically inaccessible or too dangerous for a full-sized rig. At this scale, the physics of flight change in your favor. By dropping the hazardous weight and volume, you remove the 'threat factor.' This allows for stress-free proximity flying in sensitive areas where a full-sized rig would be a liability.

Yet, unlike lighter micros, ERA Mini retains enough mass to carry momentum through the air. It avoids the floaty feeling of smaller copters, offering the locked-in trajectory of a big rig, just condensed. Every gap becomes wider, and every line becomes possible.
