Shipping policy
All orders ship from Bochum, Germany, with DHL. Where available, DHL Express is offered as a separate option at a live rate calculated at checkout.
Processing time
Paid orders for items in stock that reach us before 10:30 German time on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia) usually ship the same day; later orders ship on the next working day. During periods of particularly high demand, processing can take 1 to 2 working days longer. Made-to-order items ship after the lead time shown on the product page. An order always ships complete in one parcel, once every item is ready.
How shipping costs are calculated
The available shipping methods depend on the destination country, the weight and the order value. Within Germany, the small-parcel rate applies to order values up to €20.00, and parcels are free from an order value of €149.00. For international shipments, the envelope rate applies to shipments up to 0.6 kg where the table below says so, and standard parcels are offered for order values up to €999.00 (United States: up to $800.00). Express shipping is charged at the live rate shown at checkout. The shipping costs shown at checkout apply.

Delivery times
Within Germany, parcels are usually delivered 1 to 3 working days after dispatch. Typical delivery times for other countries are shown on our shipping page. Delivery times are not guaranteed. Working days here are Monday to Saturday; whether delivery on a Saturday is possible depends on the shipping method and destination.
Customs duties, import charges and taxes
Deliveries within the EU customs and VAT territory are free of customs duties. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, and to territories that belong to the EU but lie outside its VAT or customs territory (for example the Canary Islands, the Åland Islands or the French overseas departments), customs duties, import charges, taxes or other fees may apply. These are borne by the recipient unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout or in the respective shipping offer.
Excluded from this are deliveries to the United States, which are always made DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): duties and import taxes are added at checkout and paid with the order; nothing is due on delivery.
Customs clearance can add to the delivery time.
Freight forwarders and parcel forwarding services
If you provide the address of a freight forwarder, parcel forwarding service, reshipper, export agent or similar third party as the delivery address, that party is deemed to have been designated by you to receive the order on your behalf.
Our responsibility for the original shipment ends once the order has been delivered to and accepted at the delivery address specified during checkout, as evidenced by the carrier's tracking information or proof of delivery. Any onward transportation arranged by you or by the forwarding service is a separate service for which we are not responsible.
We are not responsible for loss, damage, delay, additional charges, customs issues or failed delivery occurring after the order has been accepted at the forwarding address. We therefore recommend using a reputable forwarding service and obtaining adequate insurance for the onward shipment.
This does not limit any statutory rights relating to our original delivery, including rights concerning goods lost or damaged before delivery to the forwarding address, incorrect or incomplete deliveries, or defects that already existed when the risk passed to the customer.
Shipment tracking
As soon as we create the shipping label for your order, you receive a shipping confirmation by email. Where the shipping method includes tracking, the confirmation contains the tracking link.
